Sophia Chin-Robb – November 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Brookville Home Care would like to congratulate Sophia Chin-Robb as the Caregiver of the Month for November 2024.
Sophia earned her HHA (Home Health Aide) certificate in June of 2023 and soon after joined our team in August 2023. After working with a few clients, she was matched with a permanent case with a family in East Norwich. A native of Jamaica, Sophia brings a warm and caring attitude to her work. She has an incredible ability to anticipate the needs of her clients before they even ask, going above and beyond to ensure they are happy and comfortable.
Sophia is not only dedicated to caregiving but also handles many of her client’s needs with great care. She does the shopping for the client and is always there to drive them to doctor appointments, ensuring they are never left without support when it matters most. Her culinary talents have also become a beloved highlight for her clients. The client’s husband shared with the administrator last year, “I see her at the stove, putting a lot of things in pots, some things I’ve never seen before, and soon the entire house is filled with a delicious aroma.”
In 2023, Sophia prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner the day before Thanksgiving, as she was off on the holiday, allowing the family to enjoy a special meal infused with authentic Jamaican flavors.
