Brookville Homecare is a small, family owned and operated home care agency providing care in Oyster Bay, Glen Cove, Hicksville, Syosset, Brookville, and Nassau County communities.
At Brookville Homecare, all of our Home Health Aids (HHA) are certified to provide home care. They receive ongoing training on how to best meet the needs of our home care clients. Our HHAs and PCAs are drug tested, finger printed, and insured for your peace of mind.
We pride ourselves on th equality of our caregivers. We receive thousands of applicants for each home care aid position and only choose the most compassionate, kind, and patient caregivers. We only select caregivers we would trust to provide care to our own parents.
Brookville Home Care (BHC) has been providing a full-day home health aide for my family member in their home since 2017 for 2 or 3 days a week. We have the same aide unless the regular aide is on vacation (a couple of weeks in the year). If we needed a substitute or when we changed aides, the administrator, Mr. James Condra, has been very helpful and cooperative in arranging for training of the new aide. Usually I do a few hours of orientation with the new aide and stay overnight the first day just to be sure my family member is comfortable and the aide can get oriented in the house. We have had several aides and all were very good (kind, wanting to help, following instructions). Mr. Condra has never “left us in the lurch” – he has always provided an aide at the scheduled times. I can recommend BHC.
